Star Vision Limited will be presenting the Power of 3D Visualization on 19-3-2015 (Thu) Time:19:00-20:30 in a CPD (CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT) Function organized by The Hong Kong Institution of Engineering Surveyors (HKIES) and Department of Land Surveying & Geo-Informatics, HK PolyU.
The Function is supported by Australian Institution of Building (AIB), Asia of institute of Building (AIOB), Dept. of Building & Real Estate, HK PolyU and The Hong Kong Institute of Clerks of Works.
3D Visualization has become more important in today’s world. Surveyors see 3D geographic information in a common spatial reference system by moving through the 3D space on terrestrial, airborne and space borne platforms. To enjoy these 3D Models and 3D constructed world, it takes both Land Surveying techniques and GIS applications, such as finding correspondence between stereo images, defining geographical features such as points, lines, polygons, faces, textures tracked from one image to the next with overlapping or multiple stereo models.
